(yep, that's me!)

I'm 13 years old. I am in 8th grade and my favorite subjects are Band, Science and Geography! My favorite food is ice cream. Ice cream is a food right? My favorite color is green.

I still like to watch Scooby Doo on TV. If you click on the picture of Scooby, you can visit Scooby Doo and the gang on their webpage at the Cartoon Network. They have games and it's very cool!

 

My favorite movie is October Sky. It is a movie about a boy, Homer, who lives in a small coal mining town in 1957. When the first artificial satellite, Sputnik, is launched into orbit, he and his friends spend their days building model rockets, even though Homer's father and most of the rest of the town think they are wasting their time. The movie came out in 1999 and stars Jake Gyllenhaal. It is a true story based on the book Rocket Boys, writen by Homer H. Hickman Jr.   

 

 

One of my hobbies is model railroading. I have an HO scale setup that I am always  trying to add to.

Here I am at the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri (2001). They have lots and lots of old trains. Some of them you can walk through and see all of the controls and passenger cars. They also have model trains, and trolley cars, and lots of other cool stuff too. The day we went, they had a big festival going on, and there were lots of people, and the local model train club had all brought their trains to show off! I love trains!

 

 

I also love roller coasters. I enjoy building models of them, and riding them, and playing Roller Coaster Tycoon. These are pictures of a couple of K'nex sets I have put together. I also have a ferris wheel and a swinging ship ride.
